The New Mexico Department of Health, New Mexico State University, University of New Mexico, and community partners are working together on building and sustaining a New Mexico Public Health Learning Collaborative (NMPHLC) to offer public health and other courses, with an emphasis on the social determinants of health.These classes are free and they are available to NMDOH employees, the hospital and health system workforce, and community partners. The NMPHLC courses aim to address public health principles, core functions and the ten essential public health services for those professionals entering public health. NMPHLC courses provide a valuable opportunity to learn about this important field of work. CEU’s are available.
